About me

Hi! I’m Zoe. 👋

I’m a native English editor and proofreader from the UK, based in Turkey. I edit blogs, articles, books, and training materials for clients from Australia to the States. (I’m somewhere in the middle.)

An editor since 2010, I have a background in technical writing and education, and I’m a CELTA qualified teacher of English as a foreign language. I’m also the little-known co-author of a two-level course in English grammar for foreigners. All of which means that I’ve done a fair amount of explaining and engaging, whether it’s for software developers, high school kids, or stressed businessmen.

I’ve learned that effective communication comes from taking a step back, thinking about what needs to be said, and putting it in a way that meets your reader on their level. As an editor, I aim to value your voice and originality while keeping to these basic principles.
